It is October 14th and I had a client show up this morning before I got here at 8 to deliver his tax paper. Seriously, I haven't gotten anything from them until now. Which if it was an easy return wouldn't bother me, but this is not an easy return(s). They also brought in the information for their business returns. This means I am excpected to prepare 2 or 3 returns, I don't remember which, and then prepare the individual return.
I just looked last year, I spent abotu 75 hours doing their stuff. there are only 39 hours left on the 15th? How am i supposed to do that? And do you really want your accountant to throw numbers down and see what sticks?
